WARRANTY REPAIR REQUEST
We put in lots of detailing and quality assurance approaches into our products to ensure they’re the most durable fly reels in the industry. However, in rare cases where there is damage that needs repair, this warranty repair request will help you understand the best way to go about it.
Note that Mako’s lifetime warranty for the original owner covers repair or replacement for any form of manufacturer defects of your Mako reel.
However, it’s worthy to note that this warranty does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, or any other type of damage resulting from the use of your Mako product.
Also, note that any form of modification(s) that changes the calibrated settings of the reel may void the warranty.

At Mako Reel Co., our customers are our friends, and we ensure we provide only quality Reels.
We warrant our reels to be free of manufacturing defects and to be made to the highest standards. If, however, upon receipt and within (10) days a purchaser finds what they believe to be apparent defects in the product, they can request an RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) number and return the product for an exchange. The item must be in the original packaging and appropriately packed to avoid damage during transit.

EXCHANGE OF PRODUCTS
If a customer desires to change a damaged reel purchased from us with a new one, the customer can please reach out to our customer service to set up an exchange. Our customer service will set up a pickup, and we will send out a new reel when we confirm that the faulty one has been received.

NOTE: Kindly inspect delivered Reels as soon as they are delivered to your door!
If your product and package have been tampered with upon arrival, please contact the courier and our customer service. Any delay in contacting the appropriate quarters makes it more difficult to file a return claim.
Kindly keep ALL packaging and items exactly as they arrived.
